As a centre of expertise, UCERF not only performs research, but also teaches, organises symposia and lectures, and provides legal advice. Other activities include the coordination of the Commission on European Family Law and the European Commission’s European Network of Legal Experts in the Field of Gender Equality, the editorial of the ‘Family & Law’ forum and the cooperation with other universities in the Alliance ‘Family & Law’, of which the Family & Law series is a part.
